Another edition of the Poços de Caldas has passed, with its many highlights (doubtlessly, Sibelius Violin Concerto by Carmelo de los Santos, and the historical performance of The Rite of Spring by Stranvinsky in the URCA Theater are among them.) There will be more to say about the 12th Music in the Mountains Festival. Yet for me personally it had this marvelous moment of reunion with my Moscow Conservatory 'comrades' Guigla Katsarava, Georgian pianist (presently based in Paris, France http://www.guiglakatsarava.com/) and Viktor Uzur, Serbian violoncellist and techer in Utah (http://faculty.weber.edu/viktoruzur/.)
